
The land at Mountain Springs started out as a Cherokee Indian Village. Later through three generations it changed from a dairy farm to the tiny cabin get-a-way that it is today.
Below is a video segment taken from PBS's Deaf Mosaic in 1994 about my mother, Sara Peltier, who was the one with the vision to turn this beautiful little cove into the small cabin retreat that it now is.
You can see that we have made many changes over the years since this television show was filmed in 1994, but I thought it might be fun to see how we first got our start over 25 years ago. My mother put much time and love into this mountain and now it is being carried to the next level.
