Mountain Springs Pet Policy
ALL pets must be pre-approved by MSC staff.
See oOur pet-friendly cabins are the Gatehouse Cottage, the Potting Shed, the Katydid, and the Cricket.
There is a $10 Per day charge per pet in addition to a $200 pet security deposit. There is a 2 pet maximum. We cannot accommodate pets over 25 pounds.
All pets must be housebroken, over one year of age and have collar with current vaccination tags on them. We like to come out to the car and meet your pets if we can. It would be great if pets were bathed just prior to visit.
We ask that you cover the sofa or any furniture your pet may want to sit on with a comforter or quilt (you must provide this). Pets over 10 lbs. are not permitted on furniture.
Please ask us where you may walk your pet. Each pet friendly cabin has its own area plus we have a designated “larger area” where you may walk or run your dog. Dogs are not permitted in “public areas” or near the stream unless you are in The Cricket.
Your pet must be kept on a leash any time it is out of the cabin & on the property.
Please bring what ever is necessary to clean up after your pet. (I.E. Plastic bags, pooper scoop.) We do charge for any surprises we might find.
If the pet is left alone in the cabin it must be crated. If you do not have a crate, check with our office. We have a Large one that may be rented (IF Available). It will accommodate large pets.
There should be absolutely no evidence that a pet has occupied this cabin when you check out. Vacuum cleaners etc. are provided in each cabin. If your pet is a "shedder" you may want to bring a lint roller with you. These are not provided in the cabins.
If there is any pet hair found we will have to charge you for the extra detailed cleaning. We want each cabin to be kept to the highest standards. We hate to sound so fussy, but we think you will appreciate our attention to cleanliness.
On the reservation form, please note that you have read and will comply with our pet policy. Absolutely no exceptions will be made to these rules. If you have any questions, please call our office.
